	David Morris BSc FRICS
David Morris has been a Chartered Surveyor since 1972.  He joined the Langley-Taylor partnership in April 2002, when Caws and Morris became part of Langley-TaylorLLP. He has spent much of the last 35 years of his work in commercial property, largely in planning and development consultancy but including a considerable amount of Landlord & Tenant and general commercial property advice, valuations and negotiations. Davide also undertakes compensation, statutory and other valuation work at L-T.  David has advised local and statutory authorities, development companies, trustees and other bodies, and private individuals.  He has been involved with strategic planning projects and large-scale developments and regeneration schemes.
He has undertaken appraisals for acquisition and disposal of a wide range of commercial investments in the United Kingdom. David was heavily involved with inner city projects and urban regeneration and acted for London Docklands Development Corporation on a wide variety of instructions between 1983and 1998.  He then acted for the then Commission for the New Towns in over-seeing the inheritance of the assets and liabilities of the LDDC, following demise of the Corporation on 31st March 1998. Caws & Morris acted similarly in respect of Plymouth Development Corporation.  David is experienced in strategic planning and has regularly appealed as a witness in statutory plan and planning appeal inquiries, as well as in the Courts on a wide variety of property matters and in the Lands Tribunal.
